Greater Phoenix Urban League & Alpha Kappa Alpha - Keynote

Context:

The 2025 Black Business Summit brought together Black entrepreneurs, creatives, and community builders in Phoenix for a day of connection, strategy, and vision. Soniyah Robinson was invited as the event's keynote speaker to honor the cultural and historical roots of Black entrepreneurship while inspiring the next generation of Black business owners.

Boundless Blackness Approach:

Boundless Blackness delivered an original keynote titled Beyond the Movements: The Activism Behind Black Business. This keynote traced the lineage of Black enterprise from the 1600s through the present day. Drawing on original research, personal family history, cultural analysis, and poetic framing, the keynote reframed Black business ownership not as an individual ambition but as a continuation of centuries-long liberation practices.

Boundless Blackness Impact:

We delivered a keynote that offered deeper historical and cultural framework for understanding Black entrepreneurship. This work connected individual businesses to an ancestral tradition of resistance, community care, and freedom building.
